YOGA & GASTRO SAILING EXPERIENCE (Yoga+Host)

In this role, I serve as both the yoga teacher and the hostess on board. I take great care in managing the ingredients on board, ensuring we have everything we need for a wonderful dining experience. I prepare breakfast and lunch, always prioritizing fresh ingredients. I also make sure the boat is always clean and comfortable, so you can fully relax and enjoy your time on board.

My philosophy in cooking is simple yet profound: I believe in honoring each ingredient, focusing on sustainable practices, and supporting local small-scale producers. I strive to offer farm-to-table meals, using seasonal ingredients to let the natural flavors of each season guide my dishes.

This format includes:

  • Daily 1-hour Hatha yoga session with short meditation
  • Breakfast and lunch preparation
  • Light housekeeping and boat care

MINDFUL SAILING EXPERIENCE

When I guide the Mindful Sailing Experience, I do so exclusively as a facilitator.

I do not take on hostess responsibilities in this setting. A separate hostess is required for this retreat format.

I’m a certified Hatha yoga instructor and I’ve gone through extensive experiential training in various modalities, including body-oriented psychotherapy. This combination of disciplines helps me facilitate transformative experiences for individuals and groups alike.

In the past four years of cooking on a boat, I’ve noticed that although many come to relax, they often find it hard to truly relax. Though they’ve physically left their offices behind, their minds remain stuck in the fast-paced, stressful world of the city.

This realization led to the creation of the Mindful Sailing Experience. It’s a unique combination of practices, including yoga, meditation, guided introspection, and creative group and individual exercises.

As a facilitator, my role is to guide you through an integrative journey, where various practices come together to help you reconnect with yourself.

What to Expect from Your Mindful Sailing Experience

This journey goes beyond yoga and mindfulness—it’s a diverse blend of practices designed to honor emotional life, dive deeper, helping you explore yourself, truly see the world, and connect with others in harmony. 

The Mindful Sailing program is a relaxed, flexible experience integrated into your daily routine, with approximately 3-4 hours of activities per day. 

The only fixed aspect is the 1-hour beginner-friendly Hatha yoga session, held daily, either in the morning or evening

 

  • Morning sessions: Recommended to practice before the sun becomes too strong, usually scheduled around 6:30-AM.
  • Evening sessions: Available after 7:30 PM for those who prefer to practice later in the day.
